Use Google to find them.

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for booking your own hotel room and travel. Uber is our recommended mode of transportation. However, if you want the freedom to roam around on your own, rent a car from the airport.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Rules For Attending

Meals: A continental breakfast will be provided on both days, along with coffee, tea and beverages during the breaks. Lunch will ONLY be provided on Wednesday. Please note we are not running a catering business, so if you have allergies or religious restrictions on what you can or cannot eat, are on a diet or are just a picky eater, pack a brown bag or cooler with your own food. Our goal is to provide sustenance to keep you alive, not to deliver a 5-star dining experience.

Internet And Phones: We are going to attempt to provide WiFi for conference attendees. HOWEVER, we know this could cause a giant UNwow experience if the hotel’s staff is not cooperating, the Internet gods are angry or the Internet connectivity sucks for any of a million reasons. IF you are so addicted to the Internet that you will experience severe withdrawal symptoms if disconnected for more than a few minutes, causing you extreme angst and the temperament of a cranky, hungry two-year old in need of a nap, BRING YOUR OWN INTERNET CONNECTION. Further…

Don’t come to this event to sit and type like a lunatic, answering service tickets and/or responding to any e-mail that happens to hit your in-box. We also expect you to refrain from surfing porn, playing Candy Crush, trolling Facebook, watching Justin Bieber videos or otherwise being a giant DISTRACTION to those around you. If you’re going to be in MY ROOM, make sure you are an attentive, productive student and an adult with manners and respect for others around you. If that’s not possible, please call us and cancel your attendance. We’ll gladly refund your money to avoid having you annoy those who paid good money and invested their time to hear the presentations and stay focused on the content being delivered.

Room Temperature And Seating: The room will be kept COOL. That is done as a means of preserving my voice and allowing me to perform at my best. If you hate being cold, bring a parka. Ideally, bring layers of clothing so you can add or subtract clothing to suit your personal temperature preference. You are also welcome to move to another spot in the room where the vents aren’t blowing directly on you. DO NOT complain to me or my team about the room temperature being too hot or too cold.

Legal: Although it should be obvious, I want to make sure you understand that the vendors (sponsors) of our event are there because they have paid to be there. That said, we aren’t sellouts that let anyone who can write a check sponsor this event and have chosen companies that are well-known to the IT services channel and used by many of our members.

IMPORTANT: We are a MARKETING company, not a group of cyber security and compliance experts or attorneys. We are providing general business advice and marketing templates, NOT LEGAL ADVICE. You absolutely should seek the advice of an attorney to review your marketing claims and business contracts, pricing, services, etc., to ensure you are not putting yourself at legal risk or breaking the law. Further, any advice provided with regards to cyber security, compliance, service delivery, backups, data protection, managed services, etc., should be discussed with your attorney to ensure the legality of what you can say, promise or do. We also strongly encourage you to seek the services of a qualified insurance agent and other cyber security experts when selecting vendors and delivering services. These are very serious topics, and we urge you to do your own research and due diligence when selecting the tools and vendors you use, as well as get professional advice on how to best package and deliver solutions to your clients.

Marketing Campaigns And Templates. All In-Person Attendees Will Receive Multiple Cyber Security Marketing Campaigns, Templates, Prospecting Tools, White Papers, Promotions And Sales Strategies To Attract More Clients And Fuel Sales For Cyber Security And Managed IT Services Solutions ($3,000 Value). You must attend the event to get access to these materials.

How To Prepare

  1. Please review our COVID-19 protocols in advance. Most importantly, if you are sick, or have been directly exposed to someone with COVID-19, PLEASE STAY HOME.
  2. Bring PLENTY of business cards to give away to peers that you meet as well as to use in the drawings by the sponsors. Nearly all vendors will be giving away swag and cool prizes, but you’ll need to have a business card to be entered into the various drawings they are holding.

What To Bring To The Workshop

  1. Your laptop or mobile device. We will be accessing online materials.
  2. A backup Internet connection. We don’t anticipate a Wi-Fi outage, but you can never be too prepared. Also, see the above rules.
